Below you will find a sample media pitch created for Belle Bar Organic addressed to a journalist whose interests aligned with Belle Bar's beliefs. In order to engage the potential for media coverage, creating a personal and genuine tone was key. We also offered a sample of our new subscription box to up the likelihood of interaction. When researching for journalists who would find this company to be a good match for them to report on, I made sure to compile a list of potentials and read multiple articles of theirs to ensure they would be rooting for us the whole way through. In my list, I included their name, news source they write for most often, and my favorite article of theirs to reference in my letter to them.
